Knight of Columbus Council # 6519

The Knights of Columbus is a global Catholic fraternal service order founded on the principals of charity, unity and fraternity by Father Michael J. McGivney on March 29, 1882.

We are dedicated to promoting and conducting educational, charitable, religious and social welfare works, and rendering mutual aid and assistance to sick and needy members and their families.  Our goal is to help men, their families, and their parishes grow closer to Christ.  Through our programs and resources, we provide opportunities to live and spread the Catholic faith.

Our Catholic faith teaches us to "Love thy neighbour as thyself."  Members of the Knights of Columbus show love for their neighbours by conducting food drives and donating food to local food pantries, by volunteering at Special Olympics, and by supporting, both spiritually and materially, mothers who choose life for their babies.  Knights recognize that our mission, and our faith in God, compels us to action.  There is no better way to experience love and compassion then by helping those in need, a call we answer every day.

The Aurora Council has planned and participated in many fundraising events such as the Annual Pasta Dinner, Christmas Pointsettias, and the Pre-Lenten Pancake Breakfast.  Many of you have seen us barbecuing and helping out at the Annual Parish Picnic as well.
