Catholic Women's League (CWL)

The Catholic Women's League of Canada is a national organization rooted in gospel values and calling its members to holiness through service to the people of God. 

The League has something of interest for all women in the parish and has a broad scope of activities that can use many of the gifts and talents God has given each of us. Guest speakers arre often invited to present to the group on a number of interesting topics pertaining specifically to women. The CWL has coordinated and participated in many fundraising events that have benefited our community such as the annual Christmas Fair, Silent Auction, and Father's Day Cake Raffle. No pre-registration is required to attend one of our meetings.  Every Tuesday we have Zoom Rosary for Frontline Workers and during Lent this past year we hosted an 8 week Reflection Series. Through membership in the League, women have a chance to promote friendship with other Catholic women, share their talents, enjoy and learn from informative guest speakers and participate in events that will benefit the Parish and the community as a whole.

We meet every 2nd Tuesday at 7:30pm throughout the year except July, August, December, and January. We are currently meeting online.   All women of the parish are invited to attend our meetings by contacting Lori Thompson 905-713-5340.  

The annual menbership fee is $25. Please see the church bulletin for our announcements about meetings and events.
