Preparing Young People for first sharing in Holy Communion

First Communion is normally celebrated in grade two but can be celebrated anytime after. Each year an information meeting is held for parents wishing to prepare their child for Communion. Please consult the bulletin and website regularly for current information.

Please Note:

Children receiving Communion must be Baptized in the Roman Catholic Church. For children in the Byzantine Rite (Ukranian Catholic) the sacrament was received at Baptism.  Likewise,  those in the Orthodox tradition, received Communion at Baptism.
